Fellow's Ode Gen 2 "Get to know you guide", its Grind Settings line. Read September 03, 2026.
Fellow prints the whole thing on one line: 1-3 Prismo AeroPress attachment, 3-6 AeroPress, 4-8 pour-over, 6-7 cupping, 7-9 electric coffee maker, 8-10 French press, 9-11 cold brew.
Five of the six settings this page carried were right. The sixth was labelled chemex, and 6-7 is Fellow's cupping band — a method this site does not chart, so the row should never have existed at all.
That one label cost this grinder every modelled number on the page. Chemex is 700-900 microns here, so calling a 6-7 band chemex placed a coarser grind at a finer setting than drip at 7-9. The curve built from those points doubled back on itself, the model refused all of it, and every method Fellow does not name fell back to a flat uncited slope. One mislabelled band, and the whole machine.
"Prismo AeroPress attachment" at 1-3 is a pressure attachment rather than espresso, and is deliberately not mapped to it.

Fellow Ode Gen 2 — frequently asked questions
Is the Fellow Ode Gen 2 a manual or electric grinder?
The Fellow Ode Gen 2 is an electric grinder with 64 mm flat burrs.
How much does each click change the grind on the Fellow Ode Gen 2?
Each click on the Fellow Ode Gen 2 changes the grind by about 55 microns, so you can dial in small steps.
What grind sizes can the Fellow Ode Gen 2 produce?
The Fellow Ode Gen 2 grinds from about 0 to 1350 µm, covering 16 of the brew methods we chart.
Can I copy grind settings from another grinder to the Fellow Ode Gen 2?
Not directly — every grinder's scale is arbitrary, so a number that works on one model won't match the Fellow Ode Gen 2. Match the micron range instead, using the chart above.
