Breville prints four bands across the 1-60 dial: espresso 1-30, percolator 31-45, drip filter 46-54 and plunger 55-60. "Plunger" is French press — it is what a cafetière is called where this booklet is printed, and it is the coarsest band on the dial.
The percolator band is deliberately not mapped. Breville places it between espresso and drip filter, which makes it a stovetop percolator at medium-fine, while this site charts percolator at 900-1200 microns — the same window as French press. Mapping it would put one micron figure at two different clicks and hand the model a curve that doubles back on itself. A band whose meaning is uncertain is left out rather than guessed at.
This is one machine sold under two names: Breville in some markets, Sage in others. The same chart is entered under both, rather than one page borrowing the other's source.
